Meghalaya’s black pepper is known for its high pungency and strong aroma. Meghalaya is the main producer of black pepper in the Northeast India. These whole black peppers are organic and sourced from village producers from Jaintia Hills. The rich flavour and spicy smell of these whole black peppers are best experienced when crushed and added to a meal just before serving it with minimum cooking.
