In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, our warehouse premises are temporarily closed until further notice, as per the directive of the Indian Government. While we continue to accept online orders, shipping will resume only once our warehouse premises and services of our logistics partner have been restored. Our priority today is to ensure the health and safety of our employees, associates and customers. Please be assured that we will have your order shipped as soon as safely possible. The NorthEast Store thanks you for your cooperation in these challenging times.

Estimated delivery time?

The destination to which you want the order shipped to determines the time take to deliver your order. The main delivery zone expected times are:

  • Metros 3-5 days
  • Rest of the country 5-7 days

If, for some reason, your order takes longer than usual to ship, you will be notified via email!

Shipping charges

We would love to offer free shipping but we incur relatively higher shipping costs on low value items since we are based out of the NorthEast. The NorthEast falls under the zone of its own with the highest shipping charges in the country. We therefore, charge a nominal Shipping charge for our logistics costs. Our Shipping Rates:

  • Rs. 75 for orders upto half kg
  • Rs. 120 for orders upto 1kg
  • Orders over Rs 1500 will be shipped for free!

Are there any hidden costs (tax etc.) on items sold?

There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on The North East Store. Listed prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is inclusive of tax and is exactly what you would pay plus the Shipping costs (costs listed by weight of order above).

In your invoice, you will see a line item showing the tax break up since we are required to show it in invoices. This amount is subtracted from the product cost itself. Be assured that you are not getting double charged for taxes!
