Pahari Roots sources the chillis used to make our pickle directly from the hilly fields of Meghalaya. Our pickle is a mix of locally grown red and green chillies and is homemade to perfection. It has a spicy and pungent taste that gives you an all-natural experience and is sure to pep up any meal!
We make our pickles in traditional north-eastern style in small batches to perfection with wholesome, fresh ingredients. It’s made with traditional spices and preserved in mustard oil to deliver a unique flavour that you won’t find anywhere else!
Pahari Roots was born in the hills of Meghalaya with a vision is to revive local & indigenous food and to ensure fair returns to farmers and artisans responsible for preserving our traditions. By retracing our steps back to our roots, we will find the answer to our health and to the health of our planet. All products are cultivated in small family farms of North East India using the traditional and sustainable farming methods blended with ancient wisdom.
